2009 PCAACA Poetry Studies & Creative Poetry
Area Location: Louisiana, United States

The 2009 PCAACA Poetry Studies & Creative Poetry Area chair is seeking two kinds of panelists. The first pertains to reading one’s own original work. You will have 15-20 minutes with a brief question and answer period. If you are interested in reading your own poetry: please send five sample poems with a brief letter to the listed physical address or send your proposal by email.

The other area concerns paper abstracts on populist American poets or other poets who have influenced American popular culture and/or poetry, past or present. This type of presentation will consist of reading a paper for 15-20 minutes including a brief question and answer period. Letters and one-paragraph abstracts for this kind of panel may be sent to the listed physical address or be sent by email.
